Hey Guys,
I have a 94 ST and I only see a 4 speaker system (2F + 2R) Does the 94 ST come with the internal amp from the factory or is it just a headunit? and if it does, where would i find it? (under seat or in dash?) I hope you guys can help. |

Thanks for the info!
If i were to use an aftermarket CD player and amp, how would i bypass the stock amp? Just use a wire harness? I wired my tercel and it didnt have a amp. Now that I have an amp from the factory.....im all confused! |

There are 2 wires for every speaker. On your 2 plugs, the smaller plug has 4 wires and thats 2 speakers. On the bigger plug there are more than 4 wires, but on the end there are 4 which look the same in pairs of 2. Meaning 2 look fairly alike, and another 2 look fairly alike. You would cut these and run them to the amp. A 4 channel is required and even then you'll have to double up on the wiring.

you might not have the factory amp since you appear to have the baseline stereo
