no1 likes mr. clean ??? confused.gif

how come ppl think the autodry doesnt work??

you know its suppose to be wet after you autodry. mr. clean filters the water and dispers onto the car for faster drying. the filtered water, when dry, leaves no water marks, so you dont have to dry the car by hand.

i dont know about you guys but i find mr. cleans detergent cleans out more dirt than other brands. i dont know maybe its just me but i like mr. clean

it "works". but you have to change the filter in it like every 5 times you use it when you have hard water. and the nozzel gets ZERO pressure, when i take a piss it comes out at a higher velocity. so the time you save drying, you use up with scrubbing the car twice as hard and rinsing out the sponge twice as much. the whole system sucks IMO.

Your argument in the other thread was that it cleans BETTER than handwashing. Yes, Mr. Clean works with respect to not having to spend time drying a car. But if your car is extremely filthy, Mr. Clean won't keep you from washing the car the traditional way: using a mitt to scrub.

IMHO, Mr. Clean works with cars that aren't very dirty. BUT... it's not worth spending the money on a product that'll only save you 5 to 10 minutes of having to not dry your car. Mr. Clean doesn't market their AUTO DRY product for the ability to clean cars better, but rather to not have to use a rag or chamoise ever again.

i really didn't like the fact that it's a pain to rinse out your wash mit. with the old bucket method dunk, dunk and it's rinsed fairly well, and you don't have to worry as much about scratching your paint with a dirty mit.

i see i see. well i dunno, i still like it, it smells good and i guess since my car is never filthy dirty, it saves a lot of time. the only concern is its expensive. you have to pay $5 dollars for soap and $5 for filter that lasts about ten cars. ohwells.

I guess I visited the site, and from what I recall they reccomended that you use a wash mit with the system.

The best way to use it IMO. Step-by-step
Rinse with low pressure regular hose(remove heavy dirt, high pressure will scratch paint)
Wash with mitt and bucket (dawn every couple months, zaino wash in between)
high pressure rinse with hose
Final rinse with Mr. Clean to remove any hard water or fine particles.
Let the car air dry (other methods of drying are too dangerous) NOT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT!!!!!
Wax...
You'll be a happy camper after about 6 hours of work.
