i just put some cheap supertech oil treatment from walmart in my 157k mile ST. That stuff is thick as syrup! I decided to try it because i have been using lots of oil. I dont have any smoke and its not leaking but its all going somewhere

I use Lucas oil treatment. Several mechanics have told me its the best and it seems to work well. Occasionally I use seafoam green as well, but thats more for fuel injectors.

i use the same. my old chrysler was using a lot of oil and i used lucas and it slowed all the leaks. i have also heard from lots of mechanics that it is the best. |

Is it possible to damage your engine using any of these?

yes, when using the lucas oil treatment you need to add it while the engine is running. if you dont all of it will not mix with the oil and settle at the bottom of the oil pan and when you crank the engine it will clog the oil pump. |
