why do people like leather anyways..

i hate it cuz u get all sweaty in the summer. and the chemical you have to put on feels nasty on your skin...

i like the cloth interior in my celi.. it so nice after a good shampoing

Well, you can always park your car in the shade and use the airconditioning.

I doubt it. Maybe in 10-20 more years.

If there was ever a collector toyota, it would have to be either a mr-2 or a supra, not a celica. Perhaps the older corollas too. But that's only cause of the recent drifting craze.

Then one day our car will be popular lol

From what I've seen, the only Toyota with real collector value is the 2000GT (particularly the convertible car built for James Bond). Really though, anything rare will be sought after, there just is not a large interest in collecting or restoring Celicas and most models were made in huge (for collectors) numbers. I've seen a couple Celica Sunchasers go up on ebay now and again for moderate prices. Kind of an interesting car, and pretty rare now it seems.

Sunchaser Info:

Hopefully there will be some AE86s after some of the Initial D wannabe kids get tired of them...

no, i dont think it will appreciate, but it certainly wouldn't hurt the value of the car if you decided to sell it. My 96 ST is considered a 25th anniversary liftback. That description is even in the title, but it's never added anything to the value of the car, at least, not to my knowledge.

I had Beige leather in my last car (2001 Jetta) & daaaaaamn it STILL got really hot! Burned the back of my legs a couple times...& my windows were tinted 20% & everything so I dont think that helps cool the seats down....
(I know what u mean about being cold in the winter though, good thing I had seat warmers haha) had to get rid of the jetta though.....theres too many of them!
