Hey guys,

help me out here. I just bought some new rims for my car and they are ADR sokudos 17 X 7 +40 offset rims. i bought new tuner nuts and all and now the guy is telling me that I need to buy hub adaptors for the rims. Is this true? if so, where can i buy these? My car is a 94 Celi ST if that helps.

Thanks again 6GC

i picked some up at my local tire dealer (Consumer Tire) but they had to order them and it took a day or two. u do need them so ur rim will fit snug. i saw some on ebay last week but didnt see any today.

with universal wheels some cars need hubcentric rings to have them fit the hub correctly. the 6gc doesnt need them, my MR2 does.

hm, its better to have them than not have them, the car might start to shake at high speeds. I have them on mine and its good to know that the wheels fit the car "properly" instead of having the whole weight of the car sitting on some lugnuts.

They came with my rims when i ordered them. I also seem to recall someone saying that you can ride w/o them but you'll have possible shaking at higher speeds. I think you can get them for like 20 bucks, iono....

i never had them on my celica, autocrossed with it with no trouble, no excessive road harshness or anything.

the wheels dont fit period without the concentric rings on my MR2
