does anyone know if anybody has tried to swap a supra engine into a celica body? if so is it really hard?

People don't understand.. Supra's are rear wheel drive.. Celicas are front wheel drive.

Yes it is possible.. But its a total hassle, not to mention you can get just as much if not more HP out of a celica engine..

um, actually it's not even physcially possible. an inline 6 in that tiny engine bay? no WAY!

now play nice, just humor him, this is only his second post.

It would not be economically sound to transplant the 2jz-gte into the engine bay of our celicas

it would require tubing the chasis, mounting a rear transaxle, and about 15 g
welcome to the forum, you'll love the hazing

...weight distribution,...unbalancy,...simply not recommended,...3S-GTE is your best bet(count on t hat). period.

go there for all your possible engine swaps. And dude, go with the 3S-GTE. You can get just as much power and save yourself a ton of money. Trust me. I am in the process right now.
