frown.gif Hey everyone,

The past couple of days have been hard on my car....and me! It started last weds. I was driving on the highway and they were doing construction so it became a 1 lane road. With my luck i had a trucker in front of me, who was carrying gravel stones. i slowed down to get away from him. but when i got home i noticed the damage was done! frown.gif

PAINT CHIPS! ahhhh

Then I was driving to work, and i heard a rumble from the passenger side of my vehicle. All of a sudden i hear a tear and my passenger vehicle lifts up and slams down i pull off to see what happened. My inner wheel well protector lineing came off and ripped not only my blinkers off and shattered them, but pulled my whole undercar kit with them! (crying my eyes out). I then pulled over and gathered what was left of the parts (not much). Not only did it wreck my lights but it knocked my front kit loose!!!

And then when i thought it couldnt get any worse!!!!.....

I got in it today to take it to a body shop to get an estimate. I turned it on and it stalled 3 times, and when i got it started it started smoking black smoke! I AM SO STRESSED! I feel like crying all the money i have poored into this car and all this sh!t happens. Now i need a tune up

I figure to get everything fixed i will be set back.....$500.00 frown.gif

Anyone have any words of happiness, cause i am so depressed about this!

Thanks for listening to me rant!

That really sucks man...I know how it feels when everything goes wrong with your car...I thought my car would never run again after six months of being destroyed, but it's back on the road and doing well, with only a ruined paintjob to show for the destruction that occured to the car. rolleyes.gif

Anyway, does the car drive? Does black smoke pour out of it all the time when it's driving, or only when it starts? If the car does drive, do you feel or hear anything weird, and does the car still feel like it has full power?

I know what you mean about those stupid trucks with crap flying off of them. Everytime I see one I get as far away as I can from it. One time I was about a 1/4 mile back from it and I still got hit with its crap.

You should probably contact the manufacturer. I doubt that many places will sell just one of the light rods.

Hey DMJC,

I am new to the board but have owned a 6th gen for about 4 years now. Sorry to hear about your car. It must be a bad week for Celicas. I have a 95 gt Conv dropped about 3" with 18"rims full body kit, full stero. Anyways I woke up Monday to my windows and my ds mirror busted in. It sucks but you have to think it could always be worse...
Hope you cheer up smile.gif
