This isn't about 6gc.net itself, but rather an advert that crops up frequently on the site. I'm referring to the Turbonator (http://www.turbonator.com) advert. Anyone know if that's for real? It sounds a little bit iffy. But then so does pretty much everything that gets advertised on the net, even when it's not iffy.
For those of you who don't know they're claiming to be able to "supercharge *any* car. Up to 35 more bhp." They're also claiming improved fuel economy. Now, I admittedly tend to be somewhat skeptical to begin with so I might be a mile off on this one, but to me this says "Don't touch with a barge pole." But if anyone does know if there's anything to this product or not, feel free to leave feedback. |

That thing is the biggest piece of CRAP ever. It's a total hoax. The turbine doesn't spine,it's stationary and allows LESS air/fuel to burn in your engine...don't waste your time/money man. If you NEED something to make you faster, I can hook you up with a turbo, I have sold a 16g and a T-25....Currently I am putting a T-25 in my car.

Ha ha ha, I knew it. The problem with stuff like that is that when someone does come along and try to sell a decent product say, via the internet only, the credibility of the product instantly drops to about 0% thanks to all of the internet scams out there.
Thanks for the feedback 97Celica, and indeed the offer of the turbo. I'm not quite ready for that at this stage, I'm currently saving for a late spec GT (preferably black) but thanks anyways. Oh, and good luck with the T-25. Any idea what sort of extra power it'll give your car? |
