ok, this may sounds weird/dumb, but where is the optimal spot for an air freshener in the celica? i got one of those funky japanese air fresheners (the cartridge looking things) the other day and i put it on the center console on the flip-up ashtray next to the e-brake. thing is, i can barely smell it. anyone have anywhere better to place it? thanks. peace.

I used to have my Mishaldan Lime Air Freshner in the cup holder also, but I took it out bcus it got so hot in the car with the sun shining in from the windshield it "melted" a little indent of the can where the coin holder is. frown.gif I ended up moving it to the floor. Holds up pretty well sitting up against the gas tank release.

Just make sure it's not toppled over whenever you get in and out of your car. You wouldn't want the gel on your mats.

whatever you do , DO NOT put one of those tree air freshners around the shifter of an automatic. I did and the stuff the tree is soaked in ruined the plastic on the gear indicatior PRDN2 it got all foggy

Man i just use strawberry leaf airfresheners. I get a three pack at walmart and i stick one in each of my door pockets up towards the fornt of the door out of view for those who dont look. and i put the third in my trunk (hatch back) and i get super good circulation. And as for scents. Strawberry and Wild Berry are my favorites. All the guiys who get in my car just say man nice smell. And the girls simply love it. but yeah three leafs a hatchback and my car is extremely scent circulated. But not too much to be annoying. Just be careful with the things you put in your sidepanels cause you leave it there too long and it will be scented for life. My phone, and the letter i deliviered to my uncle both smell of strawberry constanly. My uncle thought he got a love letter.

yeah the strawberry trees are what i used too...but they gave out too easy and i dont wanna put 10 all over the car. but they did smell pretty good when you opened the bag.
