since there are no responses so far i'm open to everyones opinions... i believe the car is priced right to sell, what do u guys think? Also, i can remove some parts if that would make the price a little better suited to your budget.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KBB RETAIL VALUE $5,675 Price Reduction -$1000 (Paint was neglected by previous owner) TOTAL PRICE = $4400 Firm 1994 Toyota Celica GT 5spd (4cyl) 2.2Liter 135HP 145ft/lbs, 4 Seater Sports Coupe 114,000 Miles Blue The car was 100% stock at the time I purchased the car. All upgrades have been installed professionaly within the last year. New Clutch (7/12/04) New Front Goodyear Tires (6/25/04) Audiovox LCD Pager Remote Alarm Alpine CDA 9813 CD/WMA/MP3 Player with remote Silver Reverse Gauges Eibach Sportline Springs - 1.5" drop (Sport Tuned suspension that must be driven carefully) KYB-GR2 Struts 16" 2001 Toyota Celica GTS Wheels Champion Spark Plugs Mobil 1 Oil Filter Fully Serviced - My Records as well as previous owners. Clean Interior - Nice Sport Seats Ice Cold A/C and oven warm heat Engine runs strong ***NOTE: All this car needs is a good paint job and will be a real head turner. The previous owner serviced the car only at Toyota dealerships but neglected the paint so the car looks good from 10 feet but imperfections can be noticed at a closer range. There is a parking lot dent on the passenger door which i recieved in a mall parking lot. The sunroof needs a new track arm. The power mirror module does not respond when button is pressed. All other electical componets work fine. The engine is flawless. COMMENTS: I have had this car since June 2003 and have driven this car for 10 months in Long Island where I go to school. In the summer months and on visits home, I park this car in a gated parking lot so as to not to keep it on the street. This a very reliable sporty car that hugs the road and is most fun on country roads. I am in the market for a new car so I am parting ways with this car. If you are interested or have any questions, write me an e-mail so we can set up a possible meeting and test drive. This post has been edited by CelicaGT: Aug 15, 2004 - 10:54 AM |

talking about needing a paint job. If i were you i would go pick up a bottle of Meguiars NXT Wax (purple bottle with green top) and wax it up real nice. That will make the biggest difference and you will probably decide that it really doesnt need a paint job. You could also touchup the little scratches and what not. Having a fully detailed car makes a huge difference when you go to sale.

yea, the paint looks ok at a distance but up close u can see that the weather has taken its toll. i've tried waxing but determined that fresh paint is the only way to restore the luster. i always envisioned a candy blue or pearl white with jdm tails to make this car scream panty dropper lol (no disrespect to the females ). The only plus i can see from the condtition of the original paint is that it makes for a lower price and perfect if your looking for a celi to custom paint anyway.
boosted_k2- cool, I guess keep me posted and e-mail me at noasoze@aol.com if you want any more info. This post has been edited by CelicaGT: Aug 2, 2004 - 1:45 PM |

hey celicastx02. what kind of car are you selling? i see that you live in north carolina. For non local buyers, i would recommend in checking out the car and test driving it as opposed to an ebay style purchase. I wanna make sure the buyer is 100% satisfied.
and boosted_k2, i'll send you an e-mail soon. i've just been a little busy with work. 6GC FEEL FREE TO POST UP if your interested or have questions. |

stock numbers snadman (From the 6gc site) "The GT model of the sixth generation Celica is powered by the more powerful 5S-FE powerplant, which is a 2.2 liter DOHC engine. This engine puts out 135 horsepower at 5400 rpm, and 145 lb. ft. of torque at 4400 rpm in every state except for California, where the engine only puts out 130 horsepower due to emissions restrictions. " So, its been about two weeks and no one seems truly interested so i figured why not drop the price a bit. How does $4400 sound? All parts still included plus a blue AEM short ram intake which can be modded to fit the celi and a stainless steel muffler. You won't find a better buy than this. Tell a friend to tell a friend... lb/ft and ft/lb are different.
pm me with a price without the intake, muffler, stereo, GTS rims and with the stock rims if you still have them. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
