Just installed my Blitz intake, well cool, took 30min to install, ill post pics soon, anyone got the blitz intake, sounds nice, especially at high revs.

Would highly recommend this product high quality workmanship, and the sound is VERY nice!

Looking into making it a CAI soon.

Of course K&N is the shiat! They come with a 1,000,000 mile warranty.
And you can just hit them with a garden hose to clean them off.

Any good filter would work.

Look into the technology in the filter and its delivery system.

Aslo, the performance of the filter is determine on how your engines works and the location where the temperature of air it is getting.

I would advice my friend to purchase an A/F Ratio and exhaust temperature meter from Autometer and make sure that you are not running lean in those high rpm range. You might pay for that abuse later on.

K&N doesn't make a drop-in filter for the GT...only the ST. You can buy universal filters though if you're making your own intake.

I believe the filter of the Cone K&N is the same for the ST and GT. But the pipes are different since the GT engine is slanted and the intake sits farther back. So the pipe has to be a little longer.

the engine might suck, but i would take the tranny and whatnot so it would make a 3s swap hella easier.

Go with the K&N!! their gear is awesome... I am much happier with the pod filter I got than I thought I would be!
Sounds great and my engine revs a lot harder now.

Just keep ringing around I'm sure someone will have some in stock, they are pretty well known. Maybe try some Jap shops.
