Ok guys, I saw somewhere the fact that our stock shocks can only handle a 1.5" drop, is this true? the reason Im asking is because Intrax offers a drop around 1.8" in the front and 1.7" in the rear ( I think), and if I did put these springs on, would there be any problems?

Last week i puted INTRAX springs in to my celi, now it about 2" lower. And its not bouncy at all, difference between handling is huge. Now it sits low, looks phat and handles like real sports car.

there's an old pic of my car back when i had INTRAX springs, and 16s. AWESOME ride on the INTRAX, and no suspension problems. i got rid of them though for the Ground Control coilovers, and after more than a year on them, i'm just now starting to feel something that vaguely feels like blown struts..so that's a year on 1.75" springs, then more than a year on 2.25" drop coilovers. so if you're on a budget, i'd say you could go a while w/o getting struts, but it's always a good idea, i need to, but too broke.
and as far as cutting springs goes..i'd never do it, but i gotta set of the stiffer 97 6th gen springs i will sell someone, if that's the way they wanna go..this way, you got a backup set if somethin messes up, and they won't cost nearly as much as drop springs. if you want em, reply, or PM me. wink.gif

Is that your car in that photo? If it is, why'd you get rid of your rims? Just curious. smile.gif

yeah that's an old shot of the car...that pic makes them look really good..but they were so cliche around here, there was at least 3 other cars around town w/ them...that and i liked the 5star design of the wheel i have now...and also, they aer worth more beign toyota wheels. wink.gif
