I'm doing an engine swap & hoping I can use stock tranny cause I don't want to rig the gze's to work in the Celica.

But it's better if you put the GZE tranny in your Celi...just to be safe. Who knows if the FE one won't handle the power.

You probably could use the C-52, but I don't think you'd want to. The C-52 tranny sucks, in my opinion. I'm on my second one right now(now it's the closer-ratio C-52 that came with my 4A-GE), and the second gear synchro is dead again.
It's well worth the time to use the FWD 4A-GZE's tranny, because I seriously doubt that a C-52 would hold up to that power for long. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
