How much are you looking to get for it?
Is it ceramic turbine or or steel? -------------------- |

the wast gate side which is the turbine is ceramic ansd on the intake side which is the compressor is steel. it's not a jdm but in good shape i paid 270 for it. it came out of a supra twin turbo and it's the smaller one i think of the two turbos. spins really nice and smooth too.

You paid 270 bucks for one of the two turbos?!?!?!?!? Dear god.......and I've never heard of hybrid steel/ceramic parts in the turbos.....it's always either full steel or full ceramic blades.
Oh well, either way good luck. I'll ask some of my buddies if they want a turbo. |

If it is ceramic the only thing that is ceramic is the exhaust wheel... the rest of it is steel (ie: turbine and shaft) Edit: Of course on the JDM ct26 alot of the turbines were coated with cermic to aid in heat dispersion at high rpms... So i guess you could call that a ceramic turbo... at least toyota does. This post has been edited by Doge: Sep 27, 2004 - 11:16 AM |
