I was messing(taking out and reattaching) with the guage cluster and all of a sudden the 3 main lights stopped turning on, it is unlikely that all three bulbs are blown...all other lights turn on...what could be the problem...

unlikely, but possible. take the covers off the bulbs and check the filaments to make sure they are intact.
also, i'm not sure if the factory lights work like LEDs, which have to be put in a certain way to work, but try switching them around. i'm pretty sure the polarity doesn't matter but it's worth a try. when i had LEDs in my dash i was unaware that they had to be installed a certain way to function. after putting all of my cluster back in and turning them on to see the glory, i found out that i had amazingly put all 3 bulbs in the wrong way |

i dont think they have to be put in a certain way. i changed my gauge bulbs from the green ones that were in there to red bulbs. i just threw them in. i didnt even think to see if there was a certain way or not. if they are blown just buy new type 194 bulbs. they're like 2 bucks a pair at wal mart.
