ok, i finally found a celica for sale within a reasonable distance. I got my loan approved today, so its all go sofar. I was just wondering what you guys think, its a 95 red gt, with a black bra, black interior, power moon roof, windows, and locks. has 116k on it, original owner, manual, rims, and cloth interior. i havent seen it in person yet. I assume is a hatchback, but not positive, havent asked, it slipped my mind, and that there is no rust (also slipped my mind). I'm going to call them and find that out, and is there anything else i should be asking about this car? it's stock as far as i know (i talked to his room mate, not him, so i need to varify all of this still) but he's asking $3995 for it, and i think may even be able to knock it down to $3500 or around there, because his room mate said theyve listed it a few times, and havent sold it yet. there isnt much of a market around here for these cars, thats why i cant find any for sale. just curious on your guys thoughts. any touble area's i should be sure to check out when i go look at the car? thanks for all your help guys, i really hope its the real deal and not some peice of crap.

I would aim for the 3500 mark. It might be 4K if there wasn't so many miles on it. Bring it to a mechanic to check it out too before you buy it. If you do get it, congratulations in advance!

yeah, well i just got home. the car is in very good condition for its age. only needs to be touched up where it had been keyed. the bra has been on since it was new from factory, and there were no dents or anything under it. I got it for $3700. he wouldnt go any lower, and i didnt want to let it get away. tonight was the first time ive ever seen one of these cars in person, and damn.....i love them even more now. im so excited to start driving it.

weather is really crappy here right now....its kinda ironic that iw as told to never buy a car in the dark, or in the rain....but i did both.... but we did take it to the nearest gas station on the test drive and parked under the lights to look it over. I need to put in a cv joint, and i want to either just get it touched up, or just get it resprayed, depending on costs. I have about $500 left, maybe less after all is said and done, for the touch ups. I'll see if my friends dad can hook me up for the painting part. pics will come soon, i hope. soon as the weather is nicer....(ie, not raining).
