I just bought a 94 celica gt about 3 weeks ago. I love it more than the 240sx, pos eclipses, (a little more than a 280z twin turbo datsun) i was test driving. Problem is, the tires are X brand crappers with about 5miles of tread life left (i've driven about 400miles). And i badly need new tires. 2 of them are currently leaking air.
I was looking into the Falken 512, Yoko avid/avs, but then i went to a hole in the wall tire shop that offered me Capitol Negotiators. I've never heard of Capitol, don't know their rep, nothin. If you guys have ever heard of and would recommend those, please let me know. Otherwise, what else would you suggest for stock gt tire 205/55? |

I used to use continental contactextreme, all season high performance, feels good on cornering, wet and dry, didn't try on snow yet, try to do a research on tirerack.com should give you alot of ideas, and check on each tires' rating from the customers.

Yep, almost went with those myself, of all places, Wal-mart by me had them in stock 205-55-15 V-rated for under a hundred each, just not sure I want them working on my car. Ended up getting 205-50-16 Goodrich Traction T/A's on my 7th gen GT-S wheels instead |
