Well since I got the car the rotors have needed replacing, and I figure while I get them I might as well get new pads. I've searched and looked through many pages of old threads, and I've decided the the EBC green stuff pads will be good, and I want to get the rotors from irotors.com

The problem is, on the site they say that you can buy a set of rotors for the ST, meaning all four, but I thought the ST had drums in the back? By brake set all the way around, do they mean they will give me new drums for the back?

I think I will just order the rotors for the front and the pads for the front and leave the back as the drums, will that be okay? Any info you guys can give me will be great, thanks in advance.

As far as i know, all st's have drums in the rear. Norm when somthign says set, it means left in right. Like you buy a set of brake pads. Your buying the left and right complete set. Unless you plan on doing a lot to your car,or an engine swap. I wouldnt bother changing out the rears to disc. unless you have extra time an money. but i have also heard the green stuff pads are nice.. I would like to know if any one on here has them, and what they say.

Stock toyota is about the best you can get...but for a ST i would get autozone/advanced pads and rotors....they are fine. I use them and you cant even come close to outperforming them with a ST smile.gif

i have 10$ autozone pads on the front of my celica and i cant even come close to maxing them out. I get no brake fade, squeaks, or anything.
