Register at www.nengun.com and get the Power FC and commander especially for the ST205. Mine was GB £550 all in delivered. They accept Paypal and their paypal address is nengun@yahoo.com. Unless you can get it cheaper elsewhere of course.

Greddy and HKS make good External Wastegates as well....

... Sorry my friend... You can't add the wastegate later.
The TD06-20G doesn't have an internal wastegate(flapper) inside the turbine housing like our ct20b, so you have to get one external wastegate for the TD06-20G as well.. . biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

mmorg3053 I will check the website and let you know.About the Power FC I found the same one like Lar- is using by AP Engineering P/N: 4E14T02Z at 420CYP..i think its a good price.
Lar- Exhaust manifoldfor 3SGTE engines are very expensive!!!really!!!
Well i have to decide if i will go with custom or get one ready.I have to check also the prices for wastegate...hmmmm.....

Magic: According to the Mr2 guys, the exhaust manifold for the 3sgte will support 400+ hp and is not subject to the same cracking risk of a tubular exhaust manifold. You may want to put money toward other mods such as an intake manifold or fuel upgrades.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

agreed with jgreening and -lar, you cant just add a wastegate later if it is not internally gated, if it is an externally gated turbo, then you need an aftermarket wastegate. you will also need an adapter plate to attach the external gate to the factory manifold, or you have to get a new custom manifold incorperating an external gate.

jgreening you suggest that i should stay with the stock 3SGTE manifold?Cuz i didnt get it.About fuel upgrades i am also thinking about injectors but for the bhp i need(360bhp) the stock injectors(540cc) are enought.
Yes boosted_K2 all of you are right on this,if the turbo does not internally controlled i should go with a wastegate from the start.

Magic:

Correct. You do not need to replace the exhaust manifold at those horsepower levels - unless you are doing it for looks. The stock EM will not reach its limits and a tubular EM will not be much more efficient - no matter the design (and it could be worse). The longevity factor alone would persuade me to keep the stock EM.

As for the injectors, I have read that 550's are good for upto about 325whp at 85% duty cycle. Maybe Tim can confirm this.

Finally, the people who know 3s engines would never get a internally gated turbo upgrade unless very modest boost was planned. The internal gates simply cannot allow enough exhuast gas to escape fast enough causing dangerous boost creep.

Jay.

Jay,a good idea its to try with the stock setup and if something seems to be weak then i should replace it.
For sure i am going to install the fuel pump,i am sure that i need it,and also the FMI....of course its always depends on "what bhp you want to reach".....
Thanks for the info dude

is the 325 at 85% what wolfkatz concluded after his flowbench tests? MR Controls recommends to upgrade fuel pump and injectors at +275WHP, but its only worthwhile with proper fuel management, which quoting MRControls "a S-AFC does NOT qualify as proper fuel management, which im sure what they are getting at is a PowerFC or any type of EMS system to really optimize modifying the fuel system. you should probably put a FPR on at the same time as well.

Tim:

Remember that Magic's car is a Gen III. He has 540's (not 440's) - the 275 whp max for gen IIs does not apply.

this is true, i forgot about it being a gen 3, reguardless i still stick to what i said but yes, you should be in the clear with 540s for the power range you are looking for, but a new fuel pump and especially the FPR would be a good addition.
