I just bought a spool of 10 gauge wires from an auto parts store, $15, then grounded almost everything I can see to the negative terminal of the battery. That's what I did.. I don't know about how well the ground systems work though..

hehe, the stock ground wires are a bitch to reach. The first one's easy- front of the car to the negative battery terminal.
the second one is a minor pain- I broke a bolt head doing it and still haven't fixed it. It goes from a fuel line above the engine on the pass side of the pass side chassis. the last one goes from the exhaust mani to some other dohicky. on the drivers side- under a lot of things |

unless the wire is messed up i'd say its useless, most of the sensors (except of knock i think) have local groudning to the ecu, the starter has its own to the relay box, the alternator goes right to the battery i think. the only real important one is connected to the head for the spark plugs. my car ran fine for 2 months without the tranny ground connected.
