So if i have 18s my speedometer will be off right? not by much but maybe by a few mph? so if im going 70 on my speedometer what am i really doing? 65? how do i prove this ina court?

if your wheels and tires are the same size as the stock your fine.... and you'll still going to get the ticket and pay for it.. you are responsible for anything done to your car.. so if the speedo off and they get you for speedling.. you where still speeding... get your car fixed by a qualified tech... is what the judge told my cousin...

Yeah, the judge won't care. He'll just tell you to fix your car.

fight the ticket ... unless he shows you how fast you're going on his radar already... ... well there are some websites that shows you what size tires you should get and how off you are... if i can find it ill post it up..but you guy might find some other sites similar already though...

well there is no way you can prove it, and I think you've had 18"s for at least 7 months, so you've had alot of time to fix it, but you could just say your poor and lazy, and if they take this money from you it will take u even longer to fix it.

You can take your car to be tested/fixed for the speedo problem. This recept is documentation that you did infact not know your exact speed and will help you in court. My dad has done it MANY times. He's actualy got a set of spare tires that he got oversized just for this reason. He gets ticketed and switches the rims and gets tested. He's never lost in court with that reason.
