i was looking at airbag suspension, because if i want to lower my car, and raise it over speed bumps. wouldnt that be the best option, besides hydrolics. does it mess up your control or anything. idk, im just looking around at stuff to blow my money on biggrin.gif

-and if anyone has them, and wants to tell me how they like them or dislike them, please post

I know someone on this site has them, he has a white celica with vinyl and wheels etc. I dont remember his name though.

personaly if you got the money to put into it and your willing to put in the work to do it right then go for it, its not gana be cheap but it would be pretty hot.

Airbag suspension is going to be a future purchase for me, due to heavy scraping. Heavy scraping and molded in kits lead to cracks. im hoping by now, they sell a replacement airbag strut thats just bolts in.

i like my air ride
got mine from Blowjax
it was about $3k installed.
i really got it cause of scraping in town and getting in my country driveway.
it was worth it for me me cause i use it more then show it, if ya know what i mean.

if u get the car in its "sweet spot" the ride is great. thats about half full of air, or half empty. too much air will make it ride hard, less air will make it ride hard.
i got use to it after a couple weeks, so it didn't bother me.

if u do get air ride, i suggest not getting the block valves. i had them at first and 2 of the 4 block valves stuck and 1 didn't even work. Blowjax wouldn't warranty it, so i was sol. got me some nice 3/8" chrome valves and love them.

I think that was the same problem in my brothewrs civic. One thing to keep in mind, if you get a set-up I would sugest installing it-yourself, or learn how it works and is set-up. my brother has already re=placed everything in his, cause it was a lil older, but it sucks when somthing goes wrong and u dont knwo how to fix it. and they are a lot more up-keep. but def fun, and people love em. My bros nearly stock civic people loved cause of them.

i had mine installed by a pro, and i had to replace everything myself due to leaks. it is REAL easy to do. If u can swap out struts and can wire a CD player, u can do air ride.
