I just got to thinking that I don't really listen to my radio much, only cds. So I thought about just shaving the anttena off. I think it will look better clean. And even if I do want a radio I could just get the wire attached to my rear hatch glass.

my power antenna was broken when I bought the car so I pulled the antenna out and bought a nissian static antenna frame from a junkyard, then i bought a 5" antenna from ebay.... looks good... but the reception is average. I listen to CD's all of the time pretty much.

When I shaved mine, I found an antenna that sticks to the window at my local stereo shop. It just plugs right in. It took about 10 minutes to put the kit in. I put it in the upper back window but I don't get the best reception back there. Autoloc makes a kit but it is a little expensive. I think I paid $20 for my no named antenna. I'm sure you get what you pay for. http://www.autoloc.com/detail.lasso?itemid=hab

I don't even know if I'd want to get the wire kit though...I really don't listen to the radio at all. I guess I had better though because my future wife likes to listen to it every know and then. I gotta keep her happy. (he-he)

I'm shaved, but I still get reception on my favourite station (sometimes). I'm gonna get the kit, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna cheap out or get a good one.

I tore mine off, regular radio works fine...but I don't really listen to radio because you're pretty much listening to commercials half the time. I plan on getting satellite radio.
