VW/porshe is the same thing. AUDI is another concern... They separated years ago if you dont know guys... And AUDI TT is overpriced, and had problems in handling (yes, still have)... They are not too popular in europe, and i saw lots of wrecked TT on the streets.

But Personaly I have not really heard anything good about vw's or audis. and an Audi is a luxury vw. The 6 people I know with vw's and Audis say they would not buy one again, the only reason they still have them is looks and thats it. |

Yeah this is true, VW diesel's reign supreme with a few of my friends. I cant understand why. One has like a 98? Golf Diesel the other a 95? Passat Diesel, good gas mileage but, damn I couldnt ever drive one.

If I wanted a FWD Mk3 golf, I'd buy one.
I've been out on the track in one, and it didn't like it very much to be honest. Nice looking car though. But a STi/Evo will stomp all over it for performance. Depends what you want. -------------------- JDM ST205
Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000 Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying. |

They're different. As with my original comment, they are the same car... The Golf/Jetta/beetle/TT ALL use the same platform, and the same engines with slightly different power outputs... in this case your extra $ will only buy you a few more HP depending on they year, possibly Quattro, and an upscale interior/exterior... I'd rather have the roomer GTI and save myself 3-5 grand (coupe), because they are going to drive almost the same, minus the Quattro, unless its an R32 and then it owns the TT...
