Tranny problem..., is it my tranny or clutch??... Options

ok...to start off... when i bought the car.. 3rd gear grinds when down shift from 4th to 3rd... now going from 1st to 2nd dont really go in...feel like it is sort of stuck or something...and have to jam it in a little or like go a little to nutral and quickly to 2nd....well anyone have any suggestion what it is??..

Could be your syncros or your hydraulic clutch system could be leaking. Check you clutch fluid if it is low fill it back up, then pump your clutch a bunch of times, check to see if the fluid level went down and look for clutch fluid under your car. If its that just probably need to replace the slave cylinder.
