This is their second year in doing a calendar and for 2005 they used the same photos they used for their calendar last year. How cheap is that??? I know for a fact that will not happen with our calendar that is on 6gc. Thank god we have people who are willing to put in the effort!

NewCelica.org Calendar

it is hardly a rip off if you see the pics to begin with and know what you are getting. You would think they would have gotten new pics together but ohh well.

I second that motion.

On topic I dislike the calender because it is too cluttered but they did put a bit of work into it to begin with.

I like the idea of special variants or racing versions. we really need to track down the HKS AT200 that was the first FWD to break the 10 sec barrier. or the Rod Millen Pikes Peak Celica, how sick would that be? even a rally prepped ST205 that was used in the WRC

I dunno about that for one you would need permission to use their cars. Another is the amount of work for the number sold which wouldn't make it worth it. Most of us will get the 6th gen calender and leave it at that.

yeah, honestly I don't think it would be that hard. we have members all over the world, and who wouldn't want to take a day trip to see the celica that was the first sub-10 second FWD car. as for rights, would they really care? its not as if we are making a profit off the calender's sale, we are merely celica enthusiasts wanting to appreciate their creation.

I'm gonna email HKS and see if I can find out where that celi is now at .. its atleast worth a try
