why dont we send an e-mail to the companys (as a site) who makes aftermarket parts and ask them to make some parts for our cars as they do with hondas? the only reason i am thinking my next car will be a honda is the aftermarket parts and i dont realy like hondas but i do like fast cars

there are plenty of go-fast parts out there for our cars, and available engine swaps. you can easily put together a turbo kit for the 7afe and the 5sfe. now, if you want like, euro lights, that's never gonna happen, just because there isn't demand or a market for it. 20 people wanting a part is not gonna get a company to start production.

Still good though. At least we got performance to work on! A lot of people out there don't care about looks anyways.

Maikl, I know exactly what you mean. BUT, do NOT get discouraged. I was thinking my only option was a Honda too (because the Celica didn't have much to work with), but then I decided against it just because everyone has a Honda. Why not put together a car that you don't see hooked up too often (A 6th Gen Celica) and be proud that you could shine brighter than the Honda crowd when you're finished. There is pleanty of things you can do with your car, and a lot of DIY stuff that could mean a totally looking interior or exterior (if your only into it for the looks). Hell, even a Turbo, like Charlie said if your looking on keeping your stock engine. I don't want to tell you what to do, but I would like to give you some advice. Owning a 6th Gen Celica will probably be one of the best decisions you could make if you don't have tons of money to throw around (E.G.:Supra).. I hope you make the right choice.

I've tried emailing some companies about making parts for our cars before, and I never have gotten a single response or even an email acknowledging that they read my email.

if your into looks then the 6gc lookes better then any honda out (IMO) if your into perofmance spend the money on a 3s gte conversion it worth it.

maikl, what kind of specific aftermarket parts? stickers? honda's only run 16's man. I have nothing to say. Shoo shoo go away get a honda and bs about the love you have for it.
If you're serious than you would've had an idea on what to do with your celica. I derno anymore. coomer, you make me want to email those companie's man. IMO, in order to get somethin going for our cars I think we need a model car to grab the interest of them people or company + words of encouragement. question to all: Is our car unique? question#2: Will it still be if the parts for our cars flow in like honda's? Toyota's get blown while honda's get bottles. Macavely is right. |

A good idea would be to email companies and ask them how many signatures they would need on a petitition for them to consider making aftermarket parts, and then just hope they would reply.
