i like fords

better than most chevy's(modern day cars)

he isnt feeling anything, its all in his head

he wasted his money

high octane gas does nothing on an engine that does not need anything more than 87 octane

he is cleaning his engine out, thats a plus, i guess.

If by squish you mean drive over the top of them, yes. But they're slow. My father's winter beater is an 88 Bronco and its slow as molasses.

The guy on the occ forums decked his bronco out for offroad use (had some wicked pics of it in the mud) and as for it being slow it would catch our gt's in a heartbeat.

that popping is probably unburt fuel, probably from timing setup for 87 octane.

does built include turboing the stock engine?

im pretty sure a properly driven 7afte or 5sfte powered will run faster than 15 flat.

but for that matter the can do some engine work and still beat you anyways... a 3sgte is another story maybe even a 4agze but they can get alot more power then we can without touching a turbo...

If his truck was a really old and out of shape, then the 100 could have cleaned it out a bit and actually made it feel like it's more powerful. A fuel system cleaner would probably have the same effects. I just like to stay on the positive side of things, and hope this guy isn't as dumb as he's beening made out to be.

Higher octane gas will make a few horses if the timing is advanced as well.

lol my 76 Datsun shoots fireballs on 87 octane when i let off the gas at more than 3500 RPM... but then again it needs a carb rebuild... could be why it gets like 10 MPG on a 2.0 4cyl tongue.gif

but the damn thing sounds like a 454 when its idleing

ill miss the flames when i put the KA24DE in
