im pretty sure it will only work above a certain speed

it also has a vaccuum reference, to know what the load on the engine is and when to let off the gas or give it more gas

vaccuum charictaristics are different when the car is cold. wait five minutes for it to warm up, and try using its at speeds higher than 40mph

i've had some problems with my cruise control... sometimes it'd work fine.. other times, it would work, but be very irratic. It would accelerate pretty heavily then let off, the accelerate, then off... etc... wouldn't stop unless i turned the cruise control off... i still haven't figured it out tongue.gif

When you say warm up, do you mean blow up? Because I leave my car idle for 15mins its warm, so 70 on the highway for 15mins, your car is warm, impossible not to be.

Word of advice about warm ups. If you want your Celica to last, warm it up daily. Give it at least 2 minutes on a normal day and longer if it's cold. Mine is up to 246,000 miles, and I'm sure between that and the religious 3k mile oil changes, that is why I'm on the original engine with no overhaul, and no performance probs. Still getting 28 or 29 mpg, too.

Good Advice biggrin.gif I usually try to let mine warm up before i get on it.. wink.gif However sometimes if in a hurry i don't. frown.gif But i hope my engine lasts into the 200 k miles
