I plan on doing a turbo but i was wondering if i could drive around with the larger injectors on with out tubo.
Im pretty sure the answer is yes to this question I was also thinking of doing the same thing with the spark plugs gapped diffrently. im pretty sure the answer is no to this due to timing and detination numbers. Also for the oil lines to the turbo do i have to use a certain type of pipe or is any type ok. I was thinking of rubber hose? Or should i stick with metal? Would this be the same for the coolant lines. and whats the diff between the coolant and oil lines. I assume one is feed coolant and the other Oil? I ask because i thougth the oil was for cooling as well as lubrication Much thanks in advance This post has been edited by urbandork: Mar 2, 2005 - 1:34 PM |

im using cloth renforced rubber tubing. it should jsut fine. my oild pressure to the turbo is 50 psi. (is that to high fo anyone reading this)
coolant im using rubber hose also. with wormgears at both ends with brass fitting so it wont leak. try to stay away from cheap plastic connectors. u should get away fine with larger injectors and no turbo just might run a little rich. and the plugs u can use just fine also. think of it this way. a turbo is not ALWAys making boost so the times my car is running at idle its basicly N/A until i gas it. so u should be fine with both plugs and injectors. typing this in web class so im not taking speelling precautions This post has been edited by x_itchy_b_x: Mar 2, 2005 - 1:47 PM -------------------- |
