Art, I am fairly certain I have seen posts of people running the OEM unit on 6gc's. But, after searching, I couldn't locate the posts. BTW, the size looks like it would fit fairly easily in the stock location on my vert. I don't know if its different from the hatch.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

im just worried about how it would fit into the bracket, and if i can get the plastic holder around it so that my fuel gauge works. ill try it out this frday and see how it goes.

also, when people say "supra pump" i think they mean the walbro most of the time.

i swaped in the supra pump. its a big boy, but it fits and runs nice and quiet.

i think i figured out why my pump was making so much noise too! when installing it, i crimped the connectors and wraped everything in electrical tape.....NEVER DO THAT! the tape started it melt and my walbro filter was getting nice and black. so im guessing on a hot day, the tape and glue on it was blocking up the filter causing the pump to run louder. crazy ****!.... i took some pics and will post them soon

this time around i soldered the connections and used heat shrink tubing on everything. i also used locknuts on the pumps terminals so that they could never get loose.

Good stuff. I am glad it fit. I ordered one of the OEM supra parts myself a few months back but cancelled the order to concentrate on other things. I am going to get one soon with some other goodies biggrin.gif
