does it really matter super?
"These Summit exhaust tubing mandrel bends allow you to custom-design your exhaust to the shape and size you need. Available in both U-bend and J-bend styles in a variety of sizes, these aluminized steel bends are a key component of a system that is totally your own." its seems to be the same material as the jc whitney pipe.. "16-gauge aluminized steel " |

I'm using exhaust tubing for my intake from JCWhitney. The only difference between it and aluminum piping used on most intakes is that my piping is a bit heavier.

You can use plastic piping from lowes or home depo for intakes too. But you have to make sure your not too close to anything hot. Anyone who doubts this, it's what I have on my car. Lowes is the best place of intake systems.
