So yesterday I was driving home from 4th Dimension in Old Town Monrovia, and I was sleepy and tired and wanted to get home quick and I TOTALLY forgot this huge ramp over this one rail road track. Last time I was only going 40 something with my Sentra and I totally scratched up the whole front under panel. This time man, I was going around 70 and turned out to be a clean jump, a clean Team-Toyota-Celica-GT4-rally-style jump. My car air borne over the rails and landed perfectly on all four wheels...
With all that pride, it was fu*king scary.... People, slow down before rail road tracks! -------------------- |

Great fun when you're able to do that - but wouldn't recommend it too often on a road going car. Rally cars, as you'll be aware, are seriously uprated to cope with the huge stresses imposed upon the chassis. Basic things such as seam welding, rollcages, bigger and beefier shocks etc, all help the car survive. Getting airborne is all well and good, but likelyhood is that with the motor being up front, when you come back down to earth with a bump, the sump etc is at serious risk of taking a huge impact - unless there is a heavy duty sump guard to protect it. If you want to get an idea of what I mean, how's this for an example
