I have to get new clear signal bumper light? But as far as i can see they dont make them for a 94 hb. they make them for the 90 -93 and the 96+ years. If any which one would fit in easier or what are my other options???

'90-93 will fit easier, though they'll be too small and it'll look funny I think. '96+ has a different shape altogether, and won't even come close to fitting right.

You can always make your own custom signals, or have someone make them for you. Search and you'll find more information on this.

I think they look like poo. They just dont look right using the overlight plastic. Id say if you coudl find a better plastic to use, tehy will look nice, but what to use no idea..

I'm thinking about experimenting with lexan for mine. It's going to be very dificult to get them to look perfect though.

Oh, and Doug, I do agree that mine don't look that good, but it's far better than the amber stock ones that I had before, especially on yellow. wink.gif

I think I might stop by homedepot today after my interview, any idea on what type of plastic to use? also does it have to be translucent or can it be transparent?

I'd just find some clear plexiglass or lexan. If you want the frosted look, just scuff the plastic up with sandpaper.

You have the invader kit that is totally different than the stock bumper.

The custom clear turns wont ever look as good as the 93 turns IMO. The chrome paint is the big key, and the houseing is another. The DIY clear turns just don't look good.

PS I have pics of the 93 turns in my profile if anyone wants to see them.

Looks like I started something here. I don't have the how-to anymore but rjb23 might. Also, LatinKraze did this too and he posted pics a while back. If someone PMs one of them maybe they could get some more pics up and a how-to for everyone.

Sorry I looked and I dont have the guide anymore.

Its simple to do, first cut off the brackets on the 93 turns, then redrill the screw hole so it matches up with the existing hole in the bumper. then cut the old brackets off the old turns and epoxy them onto the new turns, put some silicone on the screw holes so they dont leak and screw them into the bumper, repeat for the other side. Takes about 30 mins.

so just to clarify, there isn't a set of clear turn signals you can just purchase without doing your own? i'm not very talented at making my own **** lke that, as a matter of fact have never done that, so i woudln't want to try it. If i just change the bulb in there from orange to a clear bulb, will it change it? because when i look at the turn signal, the plastic is clear, but the bulb is orange... does that make sense??

i just want it to flash clear rather than flashing orange

you can buy 96-99 clear signals from procarparts or on ebay. or if you just want them clear (tho it doesn't look as good as the ones you buy) you can remove the amber lense inside

If you have a 94-95 it looks like crap, one they are to wide to fit in the slots, 2 they are angled not rounded so they don't fit right there. Stick with the 93 turns if you have a 94-95.

So should I get the 5th gen 90-93 clear turn signals or the 90-93 clear euro turns?

Does it really matter?

So the wiring is easy? Screwing them in is hard?

Preference.

Wiring, the bulbs plug right it.

Then, if you want to make a bracket to fit, go for it, if not, some velcro or the sort ought to also hold.

Heres what mine look like:
