Does the pulley wobble or is it just loose? If it wobbles, you probably need a new one(and maybe pump/compressor/whatever the pulley is on.) I had a bad power steering pump that wobbled just a bit on the pulley, and I shredded two belts before I finally fixed the problem by putting in another pump.

If it's loose, just try tightening it. Which pulley is it, and what kind of a sound does it make?

it wobbles, the pulley looks like it is connected to the water pump. i don't under stand how it could be the water pump though cuz i just got a new one put in sept. 2004 when i had my new engine put in. it sounds like a diesel truck when you start it and when you rev it a little bit.
