HAHA, yup the 7a aint exactly Race status. turbo kit u can get nik's in sell buy section. or even Deskorchers(sp) kit. Both will work and get u alot faster.

Turbo kid would still only bring you to ~160hp from 100, you'd still be beat by all of those cars.

3s swap if you wanna keep you celica, otherwise invest in another car. I love my celi as a daily driver, and have my 240sx for the go.

WTF are you thinking, those are top-end cars, I'm surprised any one of them gave you the time of day except to embarrass the crap outta you. Yeah I have a shade over 100hp maybe I can take on 320hp Supra.

Even with a turbo kit most all of those cars are still going to stomp on you. Stay in your class with non-Vtec hondas and 10 speed bikes.

Im frankly surprised you havent raced an R1.

Supersprynt, that's not stupidity, that's trying to have a fun time on the street. The fact that they actually waste their gas on me is pretty cool. Even if they think it's funny, I think it's funny too. I know my car's slow. I'm saving up to get a tC. I'm waiting for the 2006 to come out though. I can tell you're one of them Vin Diesel type of people that look constipated while they drive fast. But whatever. I just happen to like the cars I challenge, wether they're fast or slow. I just like to have a good time and rag the crap out of my car. I like my Celi and all but it's TOO slow, so I'm just gonna sell it, make money and get the tC. Or maybe a Celica GT-S 7th Gen. I dunno yet.

ok super lets not flame on him too bad... he is new and doesnt know... kid if you wanna be able to run with the big dogs you need to start looking for you cars strenghts... imo stay off the hwys your just gonna get eaten up... unless you really know how to read traffic anf the driver of the other car is stupid and you can box him in... otherwise you need to swap... now im not gonna say a 3s swap automaticly, what do you wanna run on? you do drive at high rpm's, drag or top end? for high rpms do the 20v 4age sivertop, if you want that but dont ever wanna go turbo use the 20v 4age black top, if you wanna drag use the 4agze, if you want top end use the 3s...

both tC's and 7g GTS's are also slow compared to Supras and Talon TSi's etc. besides didn't you post this topic to ask for advice on turbo'ing your 7a? I'm having trouble understanding why you would even care if you already intend to sell the car ..

Hmm...yes you've hit the nail on the head. Heres the thing though, you know, nothing. You have no idea what your talking, you have no idea what to say to me, because im flat out right. You can spit names, call my mother fat, do w/e, it doesnt phase me, because thats childish and accomplishes absolutely nothing but make yourself look worse than you already do. When you started typing out this post, did you think people would respect what you had to say, that "is it just me, but i've lost to every car possible." Well, Sir Knight, when you race cars which are not 1, or 2 levels above your car, but 4 or 5, and you bitch about losing, and come on here for a pity party, your going to get flamed. This has nothing to do with newb or not, this is is a joke. Your "racing for the fun of it" but the cars you race do not stick around to talk to you after your done, they take off in 2 seconds and you never see them again, so essentially, your driving fast, by yourself. What did you expect when you came here complaining about losing to Vettes.

About them stopping to chat... The Talon and the Supra people actually pulled over to the side and said the car sounded and looked nice and whatnot. They told me what they had modified in there. So I don't really know what you're talking about. I always see them at the races and the hang outs so we talk there sometimes and run it for the hell of it. The G35 guy, we raced yesterday and he slowed down and asked me if the car was stick or not. So you're a respected person here, that's great. I don't see why if all you do is make people feel like crap. I was just posting what's been up lately. I mean, this is the general discussion right? To talk about whatever we want. I dunno tho, I think I would give you crap too. I mean yes there are times that I've pulled up next to a hot car like that and revved it just to see them break the tires loose on the highway or whatever, but I don't complain about losing to them. I think some of it comes with driver ability. I kept up with a 96 Mustang GT in my 94 ST, yes they pulled away pretty quick but for a while i was right at their side. Integras, Civics, some Preludes, are all in our league. But if you want to seriously beat Corvettes and the likes of that it will take a lot more than a GT-S or a Tc. With those you might beat a vtec civic instead of a regular one.

Either that or look into engine swaps for the Celica. I plan on some sort of swap when my engine dies.

Okay, I understand what you're saying. I just came on here telling a story. I wasn't bitching about losing. I was just entertaining if anyone wanted to read. I'm sorry you misunderstood and took it the wrong way. About the tC, I just want them because they look a lot nicer and it's newer. About the engine and all that, I don't really care. What I'm trying to say is I'd rather have a 0 mile car that looks nice ass hell with 160 hp stock, than a 100,000 mile car that hauls ass, even with a 3s. I guess I'm more about looks. I like the speed too, but I'd rather have a 2006 car than a 1994 car.

tC's great my dads got one and i've been driving it since the celi's been injured. But there aint no way i would take a stock tC over a 3s powered 6gc

1. Power u can't compare
2.Looks Celi's way hotter

The TRD super charger is going to be an additional $4K for the tC. You have your option of looking hot now and upgrading later (if the dealer installs the SC then its still covered under warranty) or you can buy the SC'ed version and finance the whole thing.

EDIT: or trash the tC idea and stick with a GT 6th gen

You can finanace it now and then when the SC comes out have it put on by Toyota and they'll add it to your financing.
