I've tried and tried to pop out the cig. lighter assembly but I've had NO luck. Unplugging it was no problem but anything after that is hopeless for me. How do I get that thing out?!

I was wondering if i wanted to put some gauges where the cig. lighter and that little hole or power mirrors switch (depending on the model), like the water and/or fuel 2" autometer guages, without to many problems?

I wouldn't think it would be that difficult. I myself haven't installed any gauges. Probably all you would have to do aside from normal installation is cut or sand down the hole to a wider diameter to fit the gauge.

Got a question. how do i tell, once i disconnect the cig lighter, which lead from the battery is positive(+) and which is negative(-)? i'm wiring a switch in to control a neon light and i have power spliced off the wires running into the back of the cigarette lighter. Only problem is, it won't work!
