it is said that if you add acetone to your tank, it will increase mpg..

I put some in my Jetta (I will be driving the Celica next week when the Jetta needs gas) and maybe it is just psycological but it feels like it has more power. I filled up and put about 5oz of acetone in the tank. I will let you know if there is an increase in mileage. Next week, the Celica...

Yeah, let us know. I have to pay $2.73 a gallon here, so I'd love to know if this works.

My advice: dont make your celica a guinea pig

messing with your fuel lines and fuel filter could end up to be far more expensive than the savings with the gas...

just search around on the web and you will find plenty of reasons to NOT DO THIS.
