What would be the difference in the gze head and say a blue or red top ge head for the conversion?

Coomer has the silver in his car, but the black is the newest, although I think it 's harder to find and probably a little more complicated. |

silver and black the newer ones are ALOT more complicated to install because they are both 20valve engines with 5 per cylinder and they have 4 individual throttle bodies....if your goin to go 4agte and turbo then definately get a silver top they r slower than black but are much stronger inside to handle boost....black top much faster than silver N/A but ****ty internals for boost...i wouldt even bother getting the old red top 16v seems like a waste of time to me

[right][snapback]268752[/snapback][/right] back to the question... GZE is a supercharged version of either engine. Only difference was cam profile. Blue top Vs red top is a bit different. Basically: Blue top=better cams and larger intake ports Red top= fair cams and smaller ports(better for SUB 200WHP nA) For more, better info go to www.club4ag.com and look under the tech section. |

Ok maybe i worded my question really badly =X, what head would be better for a FI setup. I am assuming the Gze being it is already a FI head. But wasnt really sure

no one has done a full gze hybrid yet there is someone doin it now...if u want an easier route the silver top is the most documented
