well im starting my long haul. ive polished my heatshield near-chrome using the how-to for the valve cover, worked the same, but probably easier. i dont have pics of that yet. Here's my valve cover I painted:user posted image
It looks a lot better it was kind of dirty in those pics. I fine tuned the letters so they are straight and not so screwed up, I also cleaned it a bit, and tomorrow i'm gonna paint over the bad spots where it should be black.
I'm doing the same black/green scheme with the throttle body as well. But that's gonna be hard since I can't take it out. I am also painting the alternator. After that I plan on making a cover for the battery because I think it's really distracting.

My car chilling in the drive way one day before blowing the tranny. Now it's just relaxing in the garage.
Opinions? Yeah, black and green is my scheme and no I'm not changing no matter how ricey it is;)
