The story of my celi, Time to get rid of the curse Options

Well, was offered $4500 trade in for my celi... which I was happy with. The car has a few dings, it's been hit twice now, has 103K miles...bought the car going on two years ago... that was yesterday...

Today, I'm driving along and come to this stop sign... the idiot in front of me is turning left... has his left blinker on and everything. I'm turning right... this stop sign is designed to accomodate those turning left and those turning right at the same time(it's a one way stop at a T intersection).

Well, I'm waiting for it to clear so I can turn right... which it does...

But that's when Mr. "Kerry/Edwards '04/Save the Earth" decides... hey, I'm in the left lane, but now I want to go right... w/out even looking over to see if anyone was there.

So, I pull to the right a bit to avoid being hit... and the f'in road gives out... there's a water drain right there... and it had to give out at that moment...

Now I have two messed up rims, a 3ft scratch below my door... and the trade in value just dropped like crap.

Should have just let the idiot hit me.

I've had nothing but bad luck with this celica... I love it, but it's cursed. Was plowed into twice in it when I was stopped... roads give out on me...as well as a bunch of other stuff too long to talk about in addition to that...

Think I'm gonna go get an SRT-4... it's just so much fun to drive

dont get a srt-4 there clutch setup is very bad... get anything else but that... hell get a evo... or something else...

when I was getting my swap done I saw at least 3 srt4's come in and get something fixed that was wrong with them, and these cars were completely stock

Sort off... They did work on the road in this place a few years ago... they have this retarded policy of fixing pot holes in Ga when/if a waterline nees to be worked on.

Most places just fix a hole... fill it in or repave the whole section... which they eventually get to in Georgia.

However, first, they take a 3-4 inch piece of sheet metel, and bolt it down over the pot hole and leave it there for a long time....happens all the time... driving along, come around a bend going 35-45 mph.... and WHAM!!... you hit them... then after several months, they come out and pick up the metal sheets and fix the whole.

Which is what happened here, except the whole came back... when I was taking the turn I was fine, but when I was forced to swerve, my front tire hit the whole, which was just deep enough to scrape just under and behind the passenger door...

As for the car... don't know... gonna go look at the new RSX-S. I also liked the tc, but after driving the SRT4, it just wasn't fun to drive. I'm trying to hold off and wait for the supercharged version to come out, but wtf... taking too long. But if I wait, I can go test drive the Cobalt SS too... dunno... any other suggestions?

Turning right onto Old 41 from N Roberts Rd... right there by Cowboy's: Cobb Pk/Old 41 south of the Cobb Police Pct 1/Fire Station 8...Mccollum Airport is right there too...

As to your car... that sux... hope u find something new you're happy with. Where'd yours get wrecked at? And if you say Barrett Pk I'm gonna laugh

At least at barrett i could've said someone hit me cuz nobody can drive on that road cuz they never know where they are going!! In cartersville on hwy 20 going towards canton. I rearended this dumb chick that decided to stop at a GREEN light...stupid ga drivers!! I wonder if that happens anywhere else?? I hate old 41 though...too many potholes. I'm there though like everyday..it sucks! We should car shop together! Maybe then we could help each other out and you can get a GOOD car! (i loved my celi though!)

Yea, old 41 does suck... unfortunately I'm stuck... I live smack in the middle b/t 41 and Old 41 right by NCHS...I've actually decided on a new car...getting a 2005 silver RSX-S... USAA negotiated the car down to $400 over invoice... and a 2.9% auto loan through Navy Fed sealed the deal. What kind of car you looking at?

Oh yea... as for barrett... at least 8-15 accidents every day just between Cobb Pk and Bells Ferry alone. Ironically, that's the first place my Celi got hit at...right ifo of the E-coli Corral... I mean Golden Corral ; )
