I work for Honda (for now) and I asked him the same questions. He told me it would be powered by the current RSX-S engine and still be priced around the 20k<Less mark. Current Si is high 18's. So I do expect a small jump, putting it into high 19's. Not to bad I say so.

The differences from the proto type are: The slotted rotors or bremo brakes won't be on production, the 19 or 18 inch wheels, or the carbon fiber hood. All in all though, this car looks to be pretty nice. I might consider it. But probably not. WRX is still better. But it's 7-8k more.

for some reason any civic with the "si" badge on them have ridiculously high insurance costs attached to them... its kinda funny the current civic si has a higher insurance rate than an rsx-s
