well im gonna get a new stock bumper which will cost less than 200 bucks, then get JDM tails, luckily it didnt F*ck the quarter panel.

I can get bumper painted for like 50 bucks if that. so i mean its like 600 bucks in damage but it should be fixed in a week or two.

Im gonna get the most crap for this in the world but so be it

I went to Wendys with a friend and parked and went in got our food and sat down. I hear a car alarm going off and i hear some girl ask her mom if thats her alarm. I think to myself that it sounds a lot like mine. I look up only to find my car had rolled a good 50 feet into the back of a TAHOE. a guy laughs as i walk out and i tell him to shove it. I look at my car and luckily its not horrible. I look at hers and see only a scratch on the chrome bumper. She says not to worry about it and doesnt even want my number. I go back in sit down and finish our dinner. I call my parents and told htem someone did it in a parking garage and must have left cuz thats how i found it. I dont have the balls to tell them that im a dumba$$.

My dad looks at it and says not to worry and htat people are stupid (thinking to myself that im the one hes talking about) but i was good at the fake tears so he gave me a hug and taped up the lens.

So please leave ur comments to urself. I know i made ahorrible mistake..How could i forget to put on my Ebrake and leave it in neutral? :-(

Yeah im just thinking this was meant to happen! :-) whats weird is that for some reason i have caught myself a few times this week with no ebrake and ill think to myself "what were u thinking?"

luckily i hit an SUV that doesnt mind that about a scratch! had it been a car that would have sucked! but maybe this was meant to happen - i was complaining i did wnat my car painted and i was thinking of JDM tails :-) but wasnt sure! so this is an extra push

i personally hate the ebrake and refuse to use it unless im parked on a hill. maybe because i have an auto i dont forgot to put it in park and manual are more prone to forget. everything must has a reason to it. but now the celi well be what you want it to be.

Something like this also happened to me. When parking up a hill in neutral. Guess the handbrake is not the powerfull. Nowadays i always put it in gear.

Put it in gear and use the ebrake. Its best to use both WHEN ON A INCLINE. I have seen so many times peoples ebrake cables breaking or just popping loose and there goes the car.

No big deal though...gonna cost you alittle but oh well. Sometimes you just forget stuff... Everyone does it smile.gif

Seeing the picture made me wanna cry...but the story sure brightened up my mood. lol too funny.

Well at least your getting some new stuff. I know you get bored with having the same thing for too long, probably would have gotten the tails down the road anyway.

Good luck with the repairs.

poor celica, I would say that your dumb for no putting the break on, however its not like I have never forgot about it. (I leave it in gear, and use the break, so if one fails (or is forgotten) the other will hold it) be thankfull it hit someone who is understanding and not gana hold you for it.

chit happens, its not worth getting upset about it, just learn and move on.

although I think that bs-ing how it happend is not the best thing to do.

**** happens. ive done things that make your mistake seem like nothing at all. Best thing to do is just tell your dad now. it might blow up in your face if you tell him later. i can just hear what he might say if you tell him later "What you Lied to me?" or the famouse "why didnt you just tell me i wouldnt have been mad" thing.
