Ok..so 2day, i did a 6 hour round trip drive n spent $460 on a set of 7th gen seats(for some reason impossible to find in Ontairo. Any ways, so i got em, now i need to know how 2 install them. Im thinking maybe reuse the slider base and bracet from my orignial seats and pop em on the 7th gen seats. Would that work? or what do i really have 2 du to make these things fit? I was gonna bring it 2 my buddy but i dont think i wanna spend money to make these brackets fit

it will requre you to cut off the old slider brackets off your old seat.. and weld them to the 7th gen seats..

or you can do it the more low tech way.. with some interesting drilling.

With the 5th gens, 3 out of the 4 bolts line up. Not sure about 6th gens.

well yea, thats the whole purpose of going through all the trouble (and yes, it will be alot, just looking at the underside of the seats is an eyesore). you'll find out that once you position one of the bolts, NONE of the other 3 line up. you could pay 600 bucks to professionally install it. my suggestion, do it urself. line up the front most outward bolt and make brackets for the rest. reason for the brackets is so it can be attached to both the seat and the original holes without coming loose. just drilling new holes will not provide sufficient threading and the bolt will just pop out. not very safe.....lol

here is the way it gos, I did my at my buddy's shop, the braket on theside closer to the door will bolt up. The 2 on the back & the other you got to use a air chizzle gun to get them off, move them where you need them then weld. The inner back braket will require a pice of steel to be stretch, the 7thgen braket to fit the 6gen....
I will try to find the pic I took of my seats...

u forget im in canada..stuff up here is like 1.5 times more expensive then down in the states. and $460 for a pair is a damn good deal. My other choises were a set of JDM seats out of a 5th gen for $700 for the pair, or get a set of leather 7th gen seats for $400 a peice.

I paid 250 shipped...

Anyway... you're either gonna need to modify the mount points on the sliders to match the 6gc holes (what I did)... or you're gonna have to drill and tap new holes (what mynzeyes did)...

I've since pulled those seats out and got leather 6gc seats all around. More comfy and better vision...
