Start with the cheapest stuff first (better than replacing something expensive and it not fixing it).

-Spark Plug
-Wires
-Rotor button
-Distributor Cap
-Air Filter (not likely, but could be a contributor)
-O2 sensor (generally not very cheap but again, could be a contributor to the problem)

I agree with trying the small stuff first, but with it as bad as you say, I would almost guarantee it's one or both of the o2 sensors. First check to see if they are connected properly, that could be an easy fix. do a search for "sensor" or "mileage" I know there have been quite a few topics about this...

yup dustin, definetly sounds like a 02 sensor to me...also make sure your wires car and rotor are in good working order, and that your air and fuel filter are clean.

also i remember running some fuel injector cleaner and seeing a small dif. but how bad it is for you sounds more like O2 sensor(s) are about to go capoot.
