Sorry, I know this is not 6gc related because im talking about my parents' car (Nissan Sentra 2001) but im asking anyway cause I know there are good people here that would help...although I dont know if this must be in Off-topic or here (move if you want)

Anyway, here's the deal: the car is running weird, when you want to accelerate, it's like the car doesnt shift..instead it's slowing down and you must release the pedal if you dont want to stay in place with the engine reving for nothing....it's very hard to accelerate, the only way to accelerate is pressing the accelerating pedal slowly ...i though the problem would be the O2 sensor (because the check engine was lighted up) but they just replaced it, same thing mad.gif (but the check engine light is now off)

plz help

Broken fuel pump after 4 years on a Nissan? What have you been doing to that poor pump? Must have been a broken pump from the factory.. No way they break that easy, or rather that fast...
