So I put on my new rear disks and pads, last night, and my frunts went on this morning, the disks when it just fine but when it came time to put the new pads in, the ones I got where too small, about 1/2 inch both ways, I assumed they where for the rong car, but when I took them back they where the right onces for my year, so the guy looked up the code for the 95's and grabbed a set, they where an exact match (much diff from the 94's in design and size.) He mentioned that it must be one of the late model celicas (he showed no sign of suprise about it,) where I was shocked. I had no idea my car was a late model, and had some parts from a 95. Now we all know that some supras came in 1/2 years, but I had no idea that celicas did too.

Any one have more info about this, and what other stuff my car might have thats diff from a standard 94.

It does kinda make me happy, because I guess I have a stock big break kit (as far as 94's go)

when I get home from work tomarrow morning, I'll post pics of the pads if people wana see and compare.

side note: I finished putting in my brimbo dilled disks and ceramic pads, so I can stop much faster biggrin.gif

Interesting...I'm going to be upgrading my brakes all around soon and I hope I don't run into troubles with all my different parts from different cars.

I think it might be around the October/November time? Seems like thats when the Celica gets changed (new generations, the 95 vs 96 changeover etc)
