Does anyone else have problems on 6gc with netscape, I just downloaded it because IE kinda freezes up my connection for like 30 seconds at a time, and pretty often and netscape loads everything quick (i'm on dsl). The main problem is with the site banner at the top, everything at the top of each page loads with the banner covering it, instead of loading under it. Only thing I have noticed...

What version of Netscape are you using and what OS are you on? I'm running Mozilla 1.3 right now, which is what new versions of Netscape are based on, and everything looks fine to me, but if you give me more info, I'll look at the site and see if I can figure out what's wrong. wink.gif

I stopped using netscape a while ago. IE is so much easier to use and it feels faster as well.

mainly what seems to be hapening is that the top banner of the site ends up covering what is at the top of each page, like on the specific post page i am on right now it has covered everything until the words code buttons. its as if netscape does not relize to load everything below the banner, all links that are covered by it are still active if scrolled over, but they just cant be seen. I'm gona screw with netscape settings, and see if its something there, or I'll dl mozilla. the reason I'm switching from IE is that I get periodic "stops" in my connection, I'll be browsing and all of a sudden it stops sending and recieving packets for about 30 seconds, this becomes very annoying because it almost makes it slower then dial up. netscape does not seem to do this...

edit: I'm on win 98 SE, and Netscape v 7.02

I just downloaded and installed mozilla 1.3 and everything loads fine, the reason netscaoe prolly does not work is all that extra stupid **** it comes with, eg. all those extra toolbars and stuff. I'll just use mozilla but you may still want to check it out coomer.

I still will check it out and see what's happening. Thanks for the heads-up. wink.gif
