Just wondering if anyone has pulled this...
Its like the guy does in 2fast2furious in the lancer on the highway where he's in reverse and then pulls the e brake to slide it around to fowards and keeps driving I did this once in my fifth gen a few years ago, but never tried it in the 6gc just wondering if anyone else does this or has done this? |

I dont think its a good idea
There are many things that could go wrong with that stunt. But if you got the balls to do it, by all means DO IT. I would never even think about doing it in my Celica. -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

I did it once in gravel in my $400 beater(back when the e-brake worked), but I wouldn't think of doing it in my sixth gen.

To do a J turn you dont have to hit the brakes at all. Just go in reverse then whip the wheel one way or the other. With practice you can catch the car and do a perfect 180 and take off again.

On a highway, most likely he will either, blow the engine, blow the transmission, or both.
There's a reason they call it a movie. Unless your engine can take 24000+ RPM's.. |

The only reason i refered to the damn movie was to give people a visual picture of what i was talking about, lil kid? if im not mistaking you posted your age and we happen to be the same age, so correct me if im wrong but with your statement that would make you a lil kid. If only you had a life and didnt have the need to break everything down that people post on here.

yeah, you definitely don't need the e-brake to do it. it's not that hard honestly, i've been doing stupid stuff like that since i was 16 lol. i was close to doin a 360 in my prelude at the stadium parking lot a few times before i put new tires on it but couldn't get it to go all the way around. still fun though
