Well after the NY meet yesterday someone made a comment about how i bought projectors but my sunroof leaks- lol

so this morning i took the car apart to see what the hell is going on in there. and look at what i found- i feel like such an idiot- BUT i was also told when a mechanic looked at the car ( or suposedly looked at it) that i needed a new seal and that there was over 100 worth of work to be done to the car.

and if you can tell what that is, its the drain tube- yep thats the only problem- sooo i put it back on and used a clamp and then i poured water all over the car and no leaks. sigh rolleyes.gif

yeah its pretty funny. I feel like an ass though

but if some of you remember there is a thread lurking around about how my uncle duct taped the roof shut , but he also told me that there was a lot involved with fixing it and that i would most likely need a whole new roof- i even paid him for some parts that i needed. It's a long story but yeah now i can drive in the rain and stay dry. smile.gif

yeah, I think i've talked to a few people while I was drenched from that stupid roof. Man was that a pain in the ass. Well at least i was smart enought to check it out before i brought it to a mechanic or toyota and paid a sh!tload of money for them to connect the drain. Im really happy its fixed though, now i dont have to worry about her being out in the rain, or worry about wearing white and having it leak all over me haha tongue.gif

Well, I was so annoyed that my driver's side vent didn't work . . . guess what, when I was messing with my alarm the other day, I found out that the cross vent connection was disconnected, so a bit of duct tape later . . . it worked. Of course it fell off again, but someday i'll fix it right.
